Description

A play about hysterical nostagia:

Set in a warped time in maybe-Europe / maybe the Americas, IF THE IMPOSSIBLE WERE THEN POSSIBLE is the story of a girl, Lenah (Blake Harrisson) who is diagnosed by a witch doctor (Wyatt Bunce) with a misunderstood bacterial infection. Given instructions to resort to the emotional afflictions of her past in order to cure herself of her illness, Lenah becomes obsessively reflective of her relationship with her deceased father (Johan Stein) and rogue mother (Rachel Amundson).

The tonality of IF THE IMPOSSIBLE WERE THEN POSSIBLE is largely emotionally parodical. However; these parodies extend beyond themselves to reveal, ultimately, irrevocable truths and honest feelings.
